A Song of Ice and Fire

My two OCs again, Darion and Nevisca. I can't believe I finally finished this! Took me about 8 hours to complete.
The idea for this artwork came out thanks to my sister. Once a week, we tell each other a 'challenge' (It can be a word, a phrase, anything) and the other one has to do a sketch related to that theme. My week challenge was 'A song of ice and fire' and of course we couldn't use any character from game of thrones or the books. I had the title in mind and then I realized that my two OCs would fit nicely on the topic: Nevisca has a very cold personality, she tries to hide her inner emotions and usually doesn't care the impact of her actions on someone else's feelings. Darion is very temperamental and gets angry very easily, but inside he is very warm and would not hesitate on giving up his own life to save someone he loves. So, these two could meet the criteria of ice and fire, all that I had to do now was drawing them 'dancing' the song The effect of ice and fire was extremely difficult to get on pencil so I decided to paint it digitally. 

Fire + Ice = Water. That's what keep them apart but unite them at the same time n_n

Oh and I changed Darion's design a little to give him a more realistic coloration. Soon I'll upload his reference sheet.

Mis dos OCs de nuevo, Darion y Nevisca. No puedo creer que finalmente terminé este dibujo! Me tomó aproximadamente 8 horas completarlo.
Tengo que agradecerle a mi hermana por la idea de este dibujo. Una vez por semana jugamos a los 'challenges' o 'desafíos'. Ella me dice un tema (puede ser una frase, una palabra, cualquier cosa) y yo una a ella y ambas tenemos que hacer un sketch a lo largo de la semana para después mostrarnos que es lo que dibujamos. Mi challenge de esta semana fue 'A Song of Ice and Fire' (Canción de hielo y fuego) y no se podía dibujar a los personajes de game of thrones o el libro. Ahí me di cuenta que mis dos OCs, Darion y Nevisca, encajaban perfecto: Nevisca tiene una personalidad muy fría, en general esconde sus sentimientos y no tiene escrúpulos a la hora de decir lo que piensa sin tener en cuenta los sentimientos de los demás. Darion, en cambio, es muy cálido y no dudaría en dar la vida por aquellos que ama, pero a su vez tiene un carácter explosivo, enojándose muy fácil por situaciones cotidianas. Ahora lo único que quedaba era hacerlos bailando esta canción de fuego e hielo Como se me complicó abstante hacer los elementos con lápiz (Y me gusto como quedo la composición del sketch, jiji) decidí pintarlo en photoshop y aquí está el resultado.

Fuego + Hielo = Agua. Es lo que los separa pero a su vez los mantiene unidos.

Ah y también cambié el diseño de Darion un poco para darle una apariencia más realista. Dentro de poco actualizo su ref.
